Bob Contiguglia

Bob Contiguglia is a retired Nephrologist and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado. He practiced for 40 years at Rose Medical Center. Bob’s passion is soccer. He has been a player, coach, administrator and executive at all levels of the sport. Bob has been on the Board of Directors of the United States Soccer Federation (US SOCCER) since 1990 and served as President from 1998 to 2006. He has served on numerous committees and boards within FIFA (Federation International du Football Associations) and US Soccer and has been a board member of the United States Olympic Committee. Bob has worked closely with professional teams and owners, sponsors such as NIKE, professional athletes, sports lawyers, event managers, consultants on governance and was Chairman of the 2003 Women’s World Cup hosted in the United States. He has served on numerous non-profit boards, most recently, as Chairman of Colorado Public Radio.
