We all grew up knowing there were just nine planets (and then eight, then maybe nine again!), but in the past 15 years NASA has been finding more and more planets outside of our Solar System every day. Learn more about NASA and National Science Foundation missions to find extra solar planets, and the scientists doing this work. This course will cover extremophiles on Earth, comparative planetology and the telescopes enabling these discoveries. Hear about upcoming new missions and what scientists hope to find next.
