The Academy for Lifelong Learning is proud to announce a book fair of Colorado authors taking place at The Academy, 6500 E. Girard Ave., Denver 80224,tattered-cover-logo

The Tattered Cover will give the Academy 10 percent of its sales to benefit the our scholarship and technology fund.

Participate in the National Endowment for the Art’s Big Read, through a discussion of Citizen. Learn about its messages and themes, and what we can take away from the work, as a community.
Assetou Xango is a poet, community 
Assetou Xango
activist, filmmaker, teacher, and mentor born and raised in Denver. She founded poetry venues in Denver and San Francisco,and, as a member of Deadly Pens and SpeakOut, Assetou has performed worldwide and was featured on HBO. She was also a part of TED Talks Mile High edition.
